When speaking about psychic phenomenon it is important to remember that you are working on a rather large spectrum. Divination has been used as far back as history can see into human civilization, and because of this the methods used are all over the map. Some are commonly used today, others are part of folk tradition, and others are more barbaric then most (or hopefully any) are willing to explore.
